Magnesium Products
Magnesium is required for the proper function of over 325 enzymatic processes in the body. Magnesium is needed to keep the brain, nerves, flexors, motor nerves, spinal nerves and functions throughout the system functioning properly. Passion cools under the influence of magnesium. Negative passions such as hatred, temper outbursts, jealousy, quarrels, resentment, bitterness, hostility, selfishness, greed NEED MAGNESIUM!
Magnesium Oil
Magnesium (the relaxer) is required at the center of every cell in the body. When the cells are low in Magnesium, Calcium (the constrictor) moves to the center of the cell to protect the cell integrity. This causes EVERY CELL in the body to be tight. It is little wonder we suffer from muscle stiffness, headaches, insomnia, rage, and more!

Mandala Chocolate
Although not directly related to knee pain, I use this at the first sign of not feeling well and usually moves me right through what-ever cold or flu my body may be struggling with. The earlier I take at the moment I begin feeling “not quite normal” the better and the faster I move through.
I use Natural Calm as a regular health practice to help with sleep. I’ve found when the body is struggling from chronic knee pain it’s difficult to relax.
I incorporate Natural Calm (2 teaspoons in a warm cup of water) right before going to bed. Better quality sleep equates faster repair of damaged cells in my knees and faster recovery.
Magnesium also has the benefits of being a laxative which keeps the body’s waste from building up making difficult to clean itself out which tends to be a challenge after surgery or when the pelvis is off from limping frequently.
Arnica extract is an excellent treatment for sprains, strains, stiffness, bruising, swelling and local tenderness of muscles. The herb can be used externally as an ointment or internally as a homeopathic remedy. Arnica also has a long history of usage among Native Americans as a major healing plant.
Clinical research has shown the effectiveness of arnica. In 1991 a British study on hospital patients with acute injuries showed that arnica relieved stiffness in 98% of the patients tested.
In my own personal experience, I have used Arnica Montana with great success both topically and sublingually. I have found the 1-2 knockout punch that works most effectively for me has been putting Arnica on topically while at the same time using it internally. Getting Arnica both inside out and outside in works fantastically…part of my “medicine cabinet.”
Celtic Sea Salt® is the high-quality sea salt I refer to in my Original Gatorade Post (https://www.thekneepainguru.com/the-original-gator-aid/) to help improve the body’s absorption of water.
Selena, the woman from Asheville that owns this company is one of the highest integrity individuals I know opting for what best for her customers over what will make the most profit.

I incorporate this fish oil in my diet when I’m looking to reduce gut inflammation to free up my body’s resources to both reduce inflammation in my knee and heal faster.
I use enzymes as an additional strategy to reduce inflammation in my body and speed up knee recovery.
Inadequate levels of vitamin D are common. While the importance of vitamin D for musculoskeletal health is well documented, its importance in numerous other aspects of health is now recognized. They include (but are not limited to) cardiovascular health and immune function. (These Vitamin D’s are the same, I just use the soft gels when I travel)

Beneficial to be taken daily however I will use it with a specific strategy after a round of antibiotics and/or to heal gut inflammation to help speed up my body’s healing of my knee.
I use unmodified potato starch as a strategy to help with sugar cravings. It is undigestible in the stomach and small intestines making its way to the large intestines where it feeds the body’s good bacteria and ultimately “chokes out” the body’s bad bacteria that feeds off sugar. Can also be beneficial as a weight reduction strategy.
There are an incredible amount of health benefits for coconut oil but the one that stands out the most as it relates to knee pain is when used daily helps to reduce inflammation in the body.
This helps support my mind and emotions on the difficult days when feeling completely helpless and hopeless about a situation. 4 drops underneath my tongue which take “the edge” off of the emotion I’m struggling with.

Many time the stress which builds up in the body due to pain results many times in tension headaches.
Peppermint oil is great for relieving headaches. A drop of oil on each temple and gently massage in. The relief is pretty immediate.
Using epsom salt is a great way to get magnesium into the body to help relax tension and decrease pain. The strategy I’ve found most helpful is soaking in a hot bath of epsom salt for approximately 45 minutes one time per week as a way to improve sleep and relax the body.
